So, without further ado, let's get into this interview.

First up, let's learn a little bit about you. Can you tell us about your background in building and running online businesses?

I've always loved henna tattoos and used to draw them myself. We had a henna tattoo studio when we discovered jagua, a natural color that creates a blue-black temporary tattoo. People came to our studio from across Germany, Australia, and Switzerland.

Since many couldn't visit us in person, we started selling our products online in 2015. We began with jagua gel and stencils, later added ready-to-apply jagua tattoos, and recently launched a freehand product with our own formula.

Why are you selling the business now instead of keeping it and growing it further?

After more than 12 years with the business, I want to focus on being a mother. My husband, who has run the day-to-day business while I've been on parental leave, has built a new business of his own. We feel it's time for a new chapter.

Can you describe the amount and type of work that you do on this business to maintain it?

My husband currently spends around four to five hours a week overseeing customer support, products, promotions, suppliers, and operational decisions. Two employees handle packaging and shipping and work around 12 to 14 hours a week combined.

So, if you were to keep this business, what are some of the ways you would try to grow it?

I would continue developing the recently launched product and testing new designs and bundles. I also see opportunities to improve product pages and email marketing, as well as to reach more customers across Europe.

Right. What would you say are the biggest risks with this business that buyers should be aware of?

The business is seasonal, with the strongest demand in summer. Key products come from two suppliers in China, so inventory planning and supplier relationships matter.

How much support are you willing to offer the buyer who acquires this business?

We can provide a structured handover covering the shop, products, suppliers, fulfillment, and daily routines, as outlined in the listing. My husband can offer up to four hours a week for the first 30 days and up to two hours a week for the following 30 days.

Are you open to negotiating something like an earn-out agreement?

We prefer a straightforward sale with payment at closing. We would consider a specific proposal if the upfront payment and the remaining terms made sense for escrow.

Final question: If you had to put yourself in the shoes of a buyer, why is your business worth buying?

It's an established online business with its own shop, Amazon sales, a broad product range, and an audience on social media. Fulfillment and much of the marketing are already organized, so it doesn't require full-time owner involvement. The recently launched product and its formula offer another opportunity that a buyer could develop further.
