Christmas Gift Project 2012 Wrap-Up And Raffle Winners

I wanted to first thank everyone that supported our charity project this year with your donations, tweets, and FB likes. We were hoping to have an even better Christmas giveaway for the kids this year and we definitely succeeded! We were able to put together more than 500 gifts for the kids in Davao thanks to your support!

Some of our Filipino friends and staff that helped with this project told us that, aside from this, many of these kids weren’t likely to receive any presents at all for Christmas. We had SO much fun with this project, we wanted to share with you a video our team created. (Big thanks to Sheng and Lorenz for putting the video together and to Aiza, Arlene, and Anne for some SERIOUS present wrapping!) Here’s the video:

We’d asked for donations this year and you guys came through like champions…we quickly hit our target within a few days! A HUGE thank you goes out to all who donated:

  • That must be a cool feeling. Always good to give back. Great work you guys!

Right on guys…that video was awesome. The part at the end when your throwing the candy is too funny. Those kids are swarming you like pigeons. Start a little bit earlier next year and you can distribute 1000 toys for 2013. Much blessings for this effort…

Yeah, it actually got a little crazy at the end. That was one of the “poorest” neighborhoods and those kids are/were in pretty bad shape and it got a bit out of hand, heh. Not quite as organized there, but definitely appreciated and their smiles were priceless.

Yeah, definitely hoping we can make it even bigger/better next year! πŸ™‚ I’m sure we’ll try to set up some charity events in-between, too.

  • great stuff Guys. awesome. a lot of fun for one and all..
