This listing is for a two-site package of advertising businesses created in June 1998 in the culinary niche. The WordPress sites have articles and recipes for a certain kind of diet and earn from an advertising network that specializes in culinary sites and blogs. The package also includes an additional site that is hosted on a subdomain. The businesses have a DA 64 and DA 62 ranking, a million + social media following, and only requires an hour a week of the Seller’s time.

The sites were purchased in 2015 and one of the websites has had content since 1998 and was registered as a domain in 1996. Since purchasing the sites, the Seller hasn’t spent much time on the businesses as the Seller had other focuses and the businesses were able to run on autopilot. The third site in the package is a sub-domain that is different from the main site. The sub-domain site has user-generated content where users can create their own recipes and content to share amongst the site’s community.

The first site generates traffic primarily through organic (72%), followed by direct (17%), and social (6%). The country leading traffic is the US (64%) with remaining traffic from the UK (9%) and Canada (9%). The site has 2,000+ articles and recipes and a DA 64. The second site generates traffic primarily through organic (70%), followed by direct (23%), and social (5%). The country leading traffic is the US (62%) with remaining traffic from the UK (8%) and Canada (7%). The site has 1,000+ articles and recipes and a DA 62. Traffic is very well spread throughout the content on both sites.

There is a 50,000 subscriber email list across the websites and the list is built into WordPress with no additional software costs. An automated email is sent out to subscribers weekly. The business has largely followed and trafficked Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. There hasn’t been much emphasis placed on social media recently but the platforms have garnered considerable follower counts. The first site has 850K+ Facebook followers, 18K+ Twitter followers, and over 2M views on Pinterest monthly. The second site over 400K Facebook followers, 5K Twitter followers, and around 55K monthly views on Pinterest.

No PBNs have been used on the sites. The Seller used a team to work on sponsored posts which were very successful and since then the sites have been on autopilot. Content is generated weekly by freelance writers and the relationships with contractors will be passed over to the Buyer.

The business has promising growth opportunities with a few changes and additions. Since the niche the businesses are in has grown in popularity over the years, creating a name or face to the brand would help grow the sites as this tactic has been shown to work for similar sites. Adding more meal planning options would be another area with great growth potential as the businesses have offered meal planning previously and were very successful.
