An Amazon Merch account created in June 2016 in the apparel and accessories niche. Amazon Merch is a service that lets businesses and independent designers create and sell T-shirts which are then shipped to customers by Amazon's Print on Demand (POD) service.

This business provides a unique opportunity for a buyer to get involved with Amazon Merch as currently Amazon Merch is invite-only and can take months to gain access to the platform due to limited slots for new members to join. All designs were created in-house by one of the partners, meaning there were no expenses in running the business outside of time.

Amazon Merch accounts work on a tiered system, meaning you only have so many slots to upload new t-shirt designs until you reach a certain sales quota where the account is upgraded to the new tier level. Currently, there are 407 active designs on this Merch account with a tiered limit of 1,000 designs, leaving a large chunk of open slots for new designs to be created by either the buyer themselves or through an outsourced graphic designer.

If the buyer wishes to outsource designs of new shirts, the seller will share a method he uses to get cheap and high-quality designs that the buyer can use to expand the inventory. In addition to this, there will be a total of 964 designs ready to go that the buyer will be able to upload and target new keywords with should they choose to go that route.  The sellers will also share their design creation process with the buyer so they will have a good system to produce high-quality shirts.

At the moment, no new designs are needed to maintain this business if the buyer wishes not to create new shirts and several months have gone by with designs only being uploaded sporadically.
