Opportunities
Email marketing: Currently there are 700+ on the email list (within Shopify backend) yet they have NEVER been marketed to
Social media: Facebook page and Pinterest account are not really being utilized. I would suggest focusing more on Pinterest in this niche. All products are automatically listed on the Pinterest account which currently gets 150-200 repins a week with zero work once initial account was created.
Paid Search: Currently only a Google Shopping campaign is being used (cost averages only about $0.03/click). Standard Google Adwords ads have not been tested and may be a good ROI.
Add more distributors (only the current one distributor has been used since day one).
Add more products (only a small percentage of the distributor’s catalog is listed). There is A LOT of room for add-on products.
SEO: Even though almost zero offsite SEO has been done, most product models rank #1 in Google search. The more generic higher volume terms are in the top 20, again with almost zero focus on SEO. A small amount of work should be able to get these terms to page 1.
Work & Skills Required
Daily: Submit orders to distributor via their website (1 min), email customer if product(s) not available, offer alternative or cancel order (5 min), answer questions on availability by checking distributor website or accessing chat on the distributor’s site (1 min), fulfill orders once ship notification email from distributor arrives (1 min), answer questions regarding products (1-5 min), reply to the rare return request and email distributor to request return.
(note: Most days the business is hands off. It’s rare to ever spend more than 15 min in a single day on normal operations. I would say 1-2 hours per week max.)
Weekly/Monthly: Nothing different than daily.
Quarterly: Check if current clearance items are still available (if not, delete), add clearance tag to new clearance items, add new products to site. (4 hours)
Seller Support Includes
Seller can offer 45 days email support.
Reason for Sale
Seller doesn't have the time to grow the business and they are preoccupied with their day job.
