The seller has built private satellite sites (also known as PBNs) as part of the SEO campaign to rank the website high in serps.
These satellites websites were built in-house by the seller, and they were not outsourced to 3rd party developers or purchased. The seller has access to them and can edit them accordingly.
The links are permanent and the seller can even specify in the acquisition contract that they will remain there as long as the buyer wants them, as the seller advises they strengthen the link profile by building some private links that competitors are not able to replicate.
However, they were not the only link building method employed in the campaign, as there are also a lot of other, more natural links, obtained organically or through high quality guest blogging which are responsible for the high rankings.
If the buyer considers them a potential SEO risk, the seller can easily remove them at their request at any point in time.
An Amazon site created in March 2015 in the automotive niche. The site content focuses on reviews for a type of cleaner for a specific part of a car engine. The site was built with a seller owned PBN that is not included in the sale, but is guaranteed to remain in place as long as the new owner would like. The site has seen nice, steady growth ever since it's inception in early 2015, and receives a very healthy amount of traffic. With a higher CPM, the site could double or triple in earnings very quickly.
Writing about more products and targeting long tail keywords. The website has quite a bit of authority with Google, since it gets 15,000 visitors per month, but it's quite thin when it comes to content. There are only 6 articles/guides on the website at the moment. The seller believes a content production campaign that would buff up the website with more relevant articles, recommending more products, can easily increase the organic traffic the website gets from Google, even if no additional backlinks are being built. There are a lot of niche cleaners, different brands, and a lot of accessories, that the seller has not had a chance to review on the website yet, which can lead to an increase in traffic.
Optimizing the current content to rank higher. Although the seller has a decent rankings in Google, they are not number 1 for a lot of the money keywords, and there is a lot of room for growth in terms of traffic by launching a SEO campaign that would increase the website serps for the current articles, without the need to add any additional content. Especially since the seller is on first page for some promising keywords, and each increase in serp placement leads to exponentially growing traffic (if you go from number 4 for a keyword to number 1-2, you usually double the organic traffic you get).
There is no social traffic, referral traffic, or paid traffic to the website. The seller doesn't have any experience in those areas, so they focused solely on organic traffic, but obviously someone with the know how to derive traffic from other sources can easily increase its traffic by implementing those strategies.
Work & Skills Required
This website has been designed as a set-and-forget passive income business. In the beginning (first 2-3 months of its inception) there was a time and money investment in building the website and rank it highly in organic search. That was when all the content had been produced and all the backlinks were built. Ever since, for the last 6 months or so, there was no new content added and no additional backlinks built.
At the moment the seller only does a monthly review of the website's traffic and revenue to keep an eye and ensure everything runs smoothly, which takes about 10 minutes. Maintaining the website does not require any additional time.
Seller Support Includes
30 days of email support.
Reason for Sale
The seller decided to focus on growing some of their biggest websites and sell some of their smaller websites to raise capital for their different projects.
