- PHASE 1:
- Reestablish a consistent post/publishing schedule: Currently, when a post is submitted the seller can take a couple weeks before they get around to publishing it. When a post is published - it is automatically sent out to the email list. So, by establishing a more consistent publishing schedule, traffic will increase. Additionally, there's a huge opportunity to syndicate out the content to all the social media accounts. The seller just posts to the Facebook page and the email list at the moment.
- PHASE 2:
- Marketing and growth: In phase 1 the seller syndicates content out to social media accounts that THEY own.. With over 2000 posts with high quality photography and content, there is also the opportunity to syndicate content out to other blogs/sites. The seller has done NO backlinking/marketing since 2013 - all links that the site has picked up since then have been organic from people sharing content and pictures. Currently, the email list grows at about 40 new subscribers a month organically. So, there is a opportunity to grow the email list, engage more with the social media accounts and in the comments. A more active owner could really take this thing to the next level.
- PHASE 3:
- Optimise the advertising and increase revenue: Some of the seller's advertisers have been with them for years and haven't had their advertising rates adjusted. So, after phase 1 and 2, it would be a good time to optimise the advertising spaces and raise prices. There's a couple different directions the new owner could take this.
