Joe has a background in engineering and spent the 90’s at a startup in San Francisco before moving onto the mortgage business. Now Joe spends the majority of his time in Manila, Philippines. Like the rest of the team at Empire Flippers he enjoys traveling often with frequent trips to the rest of SE Asia. In his free time, he enjoys boxing, basketball and playing poker. He goes by “Joe” — only his grandmother calls him Joseph!

What did you do before working with Empire Flippers?
Ran an outsourcing company, was a mortgage broker, and part of the dot com run up in the late 90’s.
What does your main job consist of? Any side projects? Tell us about it!
I oversee sales (though Alex manages the day to day), accounting, and IT/software development.
Of the 11 different business models, which is your favorite? Which would YOU buy? Why?
Amazon Associates — best hands off business model, IMO. Amazon does a great job of selling other products and you are compensated on the entire shopping basket.
What software/tools/resources/blogs do you use that other online entrepreneurs would be interested in?
Alfred App, simply stated this is critical to working productively.
What’s one thing you really believe that almost nobody agrees with you on?
Not sure here. I’m usually pretty agreeable.
