Born in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate, NY, Kelly grew up with a passion for exploring the outdoors and never once made it home in time for dinner. After completing his MBA in Orlando, Kelly spent the next five years working in finance in the Big Apple. His sense of adventure took him to Istanbul where he continued working in consulting until transitioning into his role at Empire Flippers. He has since given up on the big-city life and has settled in a small town on the Aegean coast of Turkey where he enjoys windsurfing, organic farming, and BBQ’ing.
