Q&A

What did you do before working with Empire Flippers?

  • I started a small web design & marketing company that focused on conversion rate optimization with my brother
  • I was a producer at Mixergy and got to help prep interviews with Entrepreneurs I look up to
  • I built dropshipping businesses
  • Scaled affiliate programs
  • Built and exited an FBA in the supplement niche
  • In general, I had a lot more free time

What made you want to join the team?

As I still do now, I believe this industry is really just getting started and is going to grow exponentially as business shifts even more to the digital realm. It was just an awesome surprise that I got to work with so many smart people that are fun to hangout with.

What does your main job consist of? Any side projects? Tell us about it!

I help make sure that both buyers and sellers have a great experience working with Empire Flippers. I’ve got way too many side projects to list haha

Of the 11 different business models, which is your favorite? Which would YOU buy? Why?

I’m going to chicken out here and say that there are great businesses in every monetization method. For me, it’s more about the opportunities that a specific business has and what I can bring to the table to help it grow.

What software/tools/resources/blogs do you use that other online entrepreneurs would be interested in?

  • I think you can often times get overloaded with learning. I’ve been trying to listen to more fiction audiobooks in my downtime to help me be more creative… So I’m a big fan of Audible. But if you haven’t read Never Split The Difference, it’s a pretty helpful read.
  • Get a text expander to help with repetitive text you have to use / customize throughout the day
  • ProjectFi is pretty awesome if you travel or live out of the country

Just For Fun

Favorite travel experience?

So many good ones: Seeing the northern lights in Iceland, climbing Machu Picchu, driving across North East Europe all the way down to Gibraltar and into Morocco… but one of the most meaningful was having a picnic with my wife and parents on the lawn of the Eiffel Tower. On the surface, it wasn’t anything too special. But we had some great conversations, laughed a ton and it was a surreal experience that I’ll never forget.
